![]() Emmett Compassion is a dream of the Gem County Ministerial Association. It is our dream that we would be able to work together to make our community better. Our hope is that we will all look around and see the needs around us and work together to do something about them. This is what we are shooting for on Serve Emmett Day. Please plan to join us Saturday, May 14th, 2016... but there are a few steps before we get there. The first step is to go for a walk in our neighborhoods and see if there are areas where our friends and neighbors need help. Step two is to submit the projects on this website. This needs to be completed by April 25th. Step three will be organizing the projects and assigning leaders for them. If you have skills in this area, let us know so you can join in this discussion. Step four... the projects will be posted on this website by Sunday, May 1st. Check out the website and sign up where you best fit based on your skills and abilities. You will then be contacted by your project leader for the details and you will join us all working around Emmett on May 14th to make this a better place... maybe even meeting some new friends along the way! Join this journey with us and help make Emmett Compassion become a reality! Pastor Brian Emmett Nazarene Church

![]() Serve Emmett Day is coming up Saturday, May 9th. I hope you have marked your calendars for that morning... or I am going to have a lot of work to do by myself! :) In preparation for this day, we are currently collecting the projects. The deadline to submit projects is this Monday, April 27th. You can submit them here: http://www.emmettcompassion.org/project-request-form.html Our hope is to collect projects from our neighborhoods, so please keep your eyes open. We only have a few turned in so far. Once the projects are in, we will need help organizing the projects... determining how many helpers we need for each project, what resources, who we can use as a leader, etc. We can't do this on our own. We need knowledgeable people to help. The pastors will be meeting Tuesday afternoon, so if you can help in this way, let us know by Monday. Once organized, we will post the organized projects on the website (www.emmettcompassion.org) by May 1st so that we can then all go and sign up for the project that best fits our skillsets. And yes there will be projects for all skillsets... even no skillsets! We could also use some donations to cover any expenses we may incur. Let me know if you would like to be involved in some of the planning stages (mailto:[email protected]). Also, let me know what questions you may have.
